I thought it woud be nice to open up the kata discussions with a nice question!

What's your favourite kata and why ?

Hmm, it's a hard one but my favourite kata is Sanchin no kata!

It's the oldest kata going, it's hard and strong!
all good things come in three's and this kata is
'three battles'
'three points'
'three phases'

Its where you can learn good breathing, technique and power.
Just like the unification of Mind, Body and Spirit your use your mind in the visulisation of the ki flowing in and out your body as you ibuki.
You us your body because when your breathing moving and using power. And you use your spirit in connection with the body and mind.

It's my favourite kata because it's the only kata that absolutly tires me out after doing it, it makes you feel really strong and a good loud ibuki lets me express myslef.
