We had a guy once wearing them old style thai groin guard... it had already cracked a little (he said) but he decided to wear it long after he noticed it... One day he got kicked in the groin really hard.. the cup broke in half but the rubber band around it made it snap back in place.. making it grip onto some of his belongings....
Its one of those things thats always in the back of your mind when you put it on.. "check for cracks"....
