Hi. I've trained in Aikido (brown belt) and Seibukan jujutsu (shodan demonstration in a couple weeks). You know, those arts Karate people seem to like to poke fun at.

While I have learned a lot that I think is valuable in those arts, I am painfully aware that my strikings skills are lacking. I am moving to Pullman, WA in a couple months and am planning to join the Kyokushin dojo there. I am very excited to train in something so completely different, and to test myself in a live, competitive sparring setting.
So excited, in fact, that I am sitting here at my computer reading about it rather than working, since I can't start training until I move.
