Welcome to the forum and as you can gather from the above posts the answer to your first question is a resounding NO! I returned to Kyokushin after a long break about 3 years ago at 36, I was in quite bad shape but this is the way I approached it - go and give it a go, if it's a dojo hey will tell you not to try too hard, won't push you more than you're ready for and once you been a few times you'll work out what you need to work on and then you can ask for advise if you still need some.
