Hi Everyone,
I’ve never been involved in anything remotely resembling martial arts, and never been athletic for more than a three week long stretch. A co-worker of mine introduced me to Karate by taking me to a dojo that teaches a Kyokushin derived style here in New York City. This was about three months ago. Since then, I’ve become hooked. I’ve lost weight, gained energy, and I feel great, although I constantly have at least one jammed toe and several bruises, but I consider these trophies

. The motivation… I’m going to be a father for the first time soon, and I want to be healthy and strong for my child.
