One interesting thing that I think comes across from the US is that there is many more sports it is possible to become professional in and gain endorsements or scholarships to pursue - in the UK and I think the rest of Europe it's only the elite of a very selective number of sports that get any funding and then it came be silly numbers basically if you ain't on Sky sports you're not very likely to get any help. The strongest man in the UK used to come to my Gym sometimes to train and he was an electricians mate - the US based guys he was up against in the Worlds Strongest Man were on 6 figure deals. Not bitching just observing.
