It's that time again, every 2 years is the International Banff Black Belt Camp in Banff Alberta. Invited instructors will again be Shihan Isobe and Shihan Filhio. I have been at every one so far, and can only say that this is one of the best training and Kyokushin experiences in North America. 120 of your Kyokushin coleagues training side by side in one of the most beutifull places you can imagine in the Rocky mountains, led by two of the best instructors currently in Kyokushin. What more can I say? This is open to Kyu grade belts as well.

Our Shihan Claronino, Shihan Mac Robertson and Sensei Martin Marlborough attended, Sensei came back a Shihan, so congratulations Shihan Martin. They bought back some changes to the three bo kata, tonfa ichi and Taizan, so we are starting to crank up the bo and tonfa sessions in our club now. Also said it was a great camp, I think I'll start saving for two years time, the scenery looks amazing.

It was great to host our friends from Great Britan again. We look forward to two years from now and hope we can do it again. Camp was informative with Kancho Matsui taking 3 sessions and the other Shihans taking the rest. Would be awesome to have a few more out of country guests next time lets see what we can do. But then it would be nice to go to Scotland for a camp someday too. Congrats to Shihan Marlborough.
When you see him and Sensei Bell please give them my regards from Canada.

Osu! Will do, should be seeing them at the end of November at a seminar in Lomndon and at Shihan Martins winter camp in February at Comrie Croft, where we let him put us through our paces.

We talked about winter camp in Scotland, when they were here. i would love to come over sometime and participate in it for sure. Won't be this year, we are going to Hawaii in Jan. to spend some time with Shihan Lowe and then of course the World Tournament in Nov. so not in the budget but you never know, maybe 2012.
