View Full Version : Kudo Head Gear, made for the foreigners nose?

I just read on another forum of someone using either a kudo head gear, or some generic copy, and saying that the flex from the face punches pushed a great deal on his nose
I am often told by Japanese friends I have a "Tall nose", so I am wondering if there is anyone with some experience that knows if the official kudo head gear is adjustable to protect a "tall nosed" foreigner
Thank you :)

Sometimes nose is not "nose" in Asia... :D

Hello again Last Empire :)
I haven't had any flex in the faceshield, but we use thickly padded MMA style gloves along with them. The Playwell copies I use do transmit a lot of force to the jaw though.

Hey Mitch!
Thanks for that :)
The jaw I can handle lol (even though it may knock me out lol!) Its my prescious nose I want to keep straight!
Osu!
Depending on the version of the headgear and the size of your shnozz, you may get a knock, but it will not be the same as without it! :D

Thanks Dent lol
Does that mean the newer version of the helmet, the less chance of my poor nose being beaten? :P Or does it mean im in for a time trail and error to find the right one lol
Osu!
The much older version is more rounded. The newer one is flatter, and you're more likely to take a shot to the beak. I must say that your proboscis must be significant to have to worry about it inside the helmet.
