Inspired from a discussion in GJEC thread "Enshin" to have my interview posted on K4l,I developed 5 goals(martial arts reltaed) to accomplish in order of priorities.
1) Getting my Shodan before i turn 30 (still have 5 and half solid years).
2) Participating in atleast 3 tournaments in my MA career. (2 Kyokushin, 1 mixed rules).
3) Learning Japanese Language fluently.
4) Going to Japan and training there(or possibly get my shodan in japan).
5) If Iko1 allows, to train and complete a 50 man kumite match before i turn 30.
But Dent personally believes that they are not much and he suggested
"No, no, Netscape. No modifying them now. We want the multiple Dan grades, 100 man in Knockdown, 100 man triathlon rules as well as Japanese language fluency, developing a Dogi that fits perfectly, and maybe your hosting a K4L international event.
(PS: Others may also want you to do more. I'm sure they'll add to the list.)
Osu! "
That others should also add to list, so please feel free to modify, add, delete from/what my top 5(or more) goals should be in order to have my interview on K4l
LOL :D

No, please allow me to clarify. For an above average individual your goals would be fine, but you think that the grades are why we wanted to hear more about Gary. No. We wanted to hear more about Gary because of who he is as a person.
I didn't want to hammer away at your life overall, so chose to focus on the MA side. Gary is a lot more than a martial arts practitioner. Husband, father, retired from decades of service to his community, he continues to help others through charity work.
So, achievement in the MA world is very nice, but is it enough? :)

Ok Netsecure - I'll propose the following in addition to your existing list:
1) start a space colony
2) be the first non-citizen to become President of the USA
3) every day that the temperature drops below freezing where you live, go outside and run 10 x 100 meter sprints in your underwear. You must record this feat every time, but you must NOT post those vids here
4) survive a real life self defense situation using nothing but a bottle cap, a pez dispenser, and your grappling skills
5) devise a permanent solution for new K4L posters who complain about no face punches in kyokushin
Good luck!
:D

31 here...never been married and what I've learned is when you try really hard to find her it's usually not the one you want to spend the rest of your life with! However, what do I know, I've never been married LOL!

I did find and had someone who i was set to marry next year :(, but her family forcefully got her married to someone else. Thats the primary reason for the current intesity and devlotion to my training since a year..... (I have something to proof to myself)
Anyway tahts material for a new thread......

ROFL!!! Thats a very good reason actually why i have devoted a lot of my time to training (4, 5 times a week) because i dont have much family obligations.
After marriage i know it changes a lot

You can come to the Northpole and live with us polarbears.
The temperature never drops below 0 (due to the fact that it permanently stays below zero) and also because we only have one day (a very long one) per year.
So it will be easy to fulfil this goal.
Perhaps too easy even.
