Shingikan is run by Asayama Shingo Kancho, who used to be the Enshin Osaka Shibucho and fought in World Sabaki Challenge for a few times. He was joined by Takeuchi Daisaku Shibuchio, who has a celebrated fighting career in Japan and World Sabakai Challenge and a long-time student of Asayama Shingo Kancho and Iwakami Ryoichi Shibucho, the former Enshin Tokyo Jonan Shibucho.

Thank you - with my last visit to Japan in 1993, I met a number of Enshin karateka whilst sightseeing and we did some impromptu demonstrations. One of them had fought in the Sabaki Challenge - too long ago to remember names - but shot that training on video.
It is always interesting when people separate - especially when one knows the reasons for it. I have tried to learn from such so as to implement measures to help safeguard us against losing members where we could have improved our service delivery.
Having people leave is a natural process - having them leave when one could possibly have prevented that is another matter more so as developing senior students/champions takes a long time and one needs them in any organisation.
