View Full Version : Where is Assuerio Silva? Martin H 09-13-2006, 03:06 PM Anyone know what Assuerio Silva (Seiwakai karate, under Ademir DaCosta) is up to ? I have not heard of him since he fought Tim Sylvia in UFC early this year and lost on decision. I hope he still fights MMA and hasnt retired. Or has he gone back to competing in chuteboxe/muaythai? Sonik 09-15-2006, 09:40 PM I doubt he's into Muay Thai because they have almost no recognition wich mean no money for them unless they're into MMA. Anyway, Muay Thai is very poor in Brasil. I only know one good instructor there who also trains here in Portugal known as Guto. He's the head coach of Team Never-Shake and has been training guys such as Jose Reis and Moises Baptista who compete in Superleague. He also helped Francisco Filho in his fight against Remy Bonjasky.
