Just like in kyokushin there are a number of organizations, i'm curious to know if there are split organizations in Ashihara style? If so what are they? Osu.

First there is the NIKO organisation under the leadership of Hidenori Ashihara
son of the late Hideyuki
This is the Honbu homepage
http://www.ashihara-karate.com/

Than you have the AIKO Organisation led by Shihan Dave Jonkers
from Holland ( Sem Schilts Organisation ) under the wings of the IBK
A lot of their clubs go under the name Budokai.
Here a link to one of their most famous club (also see the link page )

Following with the AKI under Kaicho Hoosain Narker
(He was a Branch chief under Hideyuki Ashihara)
Honbu in Cape Town SA

And the latest split that i'm aware of is the Sabakido organisation
in Sweden and Finland

Totally independent is the Turkish Organisation

And the Tameside Martial Arts center in the UK

I tought Jonkers and Narker were different branches of the same AKI organization. And I tought Sabakido was somehow affiliated to NIKO. Good to get it straight.
Thanks for the info.

I thank you for your warm welcome, I would like to know what is it about Ashihara Karate that keeps us 'Loyal' and gives us that supurb feeling, Also I find that when Sparring, If some 'places' a good technique on me I congratualate them and some time ask them to do it again so that I may learn this technique. Your comments please.

This my friend is not known only in ashihara
but it is called the Budo Spirit

Bow your head, be humble, but keep your opponent in sight
and steal with your eyes .
See to find his weak points and strike whenever necessary .; )
