Can anybody tell me how to train my hip muscle? in taekwondo(2 years ago i give up taekwondo and enter kyokushin) the hip muscle is very important for the kicking techniques.. and power. and in kyokushin i found the same.. especially for the ushiro mawashi techniques.

i found out that train a lot keage geri can train hip muscle. is there any training that can improve my hip muscle more efficiently?

Dear tio dunxx,
If you are talking about muscle training for kicking, the most popular training (using only body weight) in Kyokushin should be
1)Squats (also squats+mae geri, jumping squats)
2)Shiko (http://www.sportsclick.jp/sumo/03/movie/01_03.wmv)

For ushiro mawashi I think the abdomen and lower back are equality important (for stability). The oblique muscles in the abdomen facilitate the turning of body to initiate the kick. I do not think a sole focus on the lower body will add a lot of power to spinning techniques.
