Speed Bag Central - Information, Merchandise, and Resources (http://www.speedbagcentral.com/) Osu-EN1 The speed bag has always confused me. I don't understand how this piece of equipment is helpful w/ training. To me, it makes as much sense as learning to play the drums for fighting. I'm sure the speed bag is beneficial because boxers have used it for ages but I still don't get it. MilkmanX, how has the speed bag affected your kumite skills? Did your hand speed really increase? A speed bag can help somewhat as well since it'll condition your shoulders and work on your hand-eye coordination. I think a double end bag is a bit better though it also takes up more room. You can even kick a double end bag if you're really good. I'm not :D lol MilkManX 10-07-2008, 11:16 PM The speedbag trains your reflexes and coordination. It has helped me alot. I can see moves much earlier now. :D Osu-EN1 |
