Osu!

This is very interesting, ShidokanAtlanta. Is the first portion a northern version of Muay Boran? The last part is very similar to what we were doing with Azuma Jukucho.

Thank you for posting!

yes it is. pedro travels throughout thailand and burma to study. he has combined all of his previous training into what he does (wing chun, jj, etc.) he has studied martial arts since childhood (starting with judo, kickboxing,...). we met at a local gym and we were studying thai boxing. i worked a job that had me traveling a lot on projects in different states. i was in boston training with a guy who lived in thailand for 4 years. i told pedro, "we aren't doing muay thai". i won't mention any names to of any muay thai organizations. i invited him up to train with. pedro decided to go to thailand for a year. he traveled throughout the country (like cain in kung fu) and visited as many gyms as he could to train and fight. that's how we started training authentic muay thai and our journey began. the dojo i have now was all muay thai at one time (pedro's). when pedro decided to move to thailand for good, i took over, i changed locations and started to convert my thai fighters in shidokan fighters.

I'm impressed with his journey and remember seeing a few of his fights. One day I'd like to spend some time studying krabri krabrong.
