I've recieve this E-mail...

Dear Future Customer,

ICHIBAN BudoDesign® is a new and young company involving people that are highly experienced in the field of budo or martial arts.
Because of their experience, they all have an high level of knowledge of budo and martial arts as well as the equipment involved.

We, as an organization, have used this knowledge for 100% and have developed a high standard equipment such as;

Karate uniforms, for the moment mostly Kyokushin dogi and Shinkyokushin dogi;
All kinds of protection gear,
Gloves,
Budo fashion.
We will also work with the names, ICHIBAN BudoFashion®, ICHIBAN FashionDesign® and ICHIBAN Design®,

to ensure that you are clear about what category of product you are looking at.
Being a young company does not mean we have not done any preparatory work.
On the contrary, we will have ICHIBAN BudoDesign® departments in 8 European countries during 2009.
Our colleges in those countries are already working very hard at forming a company to be at your service at all times.
New colleges in Canada, USA , Japan, Puerto Rico and Malaysia are also working very hard.

We want to have our own ICHIBAN BudoDesign® office and warehouse in each of these countries, to make the costs as low as possible,

giving us the opportunity to provide you the best quality at the lowest price.
Being a company that will deal with more than 1 country, we hope that you understand that our web-shop will be more complicated than others.

We hope to have our web-shop ready by the end of March 2009.

Our goal will be to give you 100% service, before, during or after a sale, whether it was bought from one of our stores or from our web-shop.

Even though our web-shop isn’t finished yet, we have already put our starters catalogue on our temporarily website IchibanBudo.com (http://www.ichibanbudo.com) , which is currently still under construction.

This catalogue is there for you to download, so that you can see if there is anything that meets your interest.

You can call, E-mail or fax us at any time, in case you want to have more information or in case you want to place an order.

ICHIBAN BudoDesign® has given itself the task to realise top quality for reasonable and affordable prices.

You will find our starters catalogue in the appendix, so that you can be the judge of that.

ICHIBAN BudoDesign Europe will have its address in Brasschaat Belgium were they will have their offices and warehouse very soon.

For any additional information, please E-mail to ab@ichibanbudo.com or fax to +32-36331395 or call +32495213230

There is no comparison between those two kind of Dogi, ISAMI is definitly the best one !

Ichiban is owned by Shihan Breuglemans (Tezuka group)

Osu,
Yes I have one.
I already had a few Isami dogi's.
As I didn't wear my new Ichiban dogi yet I can not compare them.
It's washed 1 time now and it has shrunk alot (not a bad thing, when you know my length).
One thing I noticed that I have a size 5 for Isami and needed a size 6 for Ichiban.
Ichiban size 5 had shrunk so much that the diameter of the armholes were too small for my arms.
So now my son also has an Ichiban dogi.
I'll keep you updated about comparing the 2 brands.

Don t know about the belt. But a textile educated maan, the Gi s are nearly the same. You can t judge on a picture. I bought them both. Isami and ichiban.

I also bought some other brand, thats what I call crap...

Osu,

Just had a look at the site - what's cool is that they are offering Ashihara dogi with the Ashihara Kokusai kanji - didn't even know we had an "official" supplier. Not forgetting the patches that they are selling too. Cool!
