Thank you for sharing those interesting videos. I like how many different training tools, and equipment that you have to work with. I have never seen that big blue throwing dummy before. That is fascinating. How heavy is it?

the dummy is about 100 lbs. good for odd numbers and your classmates don't have to get slammed too much. the dummy is ok. if you want a throwing dummy get suples or big blue. they are expensive but better quality (the one in the video is from combat sports). i will share some more footage later (kata, kihon, weapons, fights, etc.)

ShidokanAtlanta,
Out of curiousity, where can I find your blue dummy friend in the video where the student is practicing throws.

Hey shidokatlanta,
there a couple of questions i would like to ask you about shidokan karate.
Do you teach knockdown karate, grappling and muay thai
or
Knockdown karate, grappling and kickboxing?
Thank you

we teach knockdown karate, kickboxing (including all styles of kickboxing and boxing), and grappling (techniques from judo, sombo, wrestling, and bjj). we do many of the same kata in kyokushin. the base of shidokan is knockdown. my competitors compete in knockdown, kickboxing, sanda/sanshou, grappling, mma, and triathlon rules (only the pros). some of my students have compete in boxing too.
