Well, I have looked around all over the net for places to order a nice kyokushin karate gi with the traditional darkblue kanji.

The problem is i have found maybe 2 that still sell gi's, the rest are broken links, more expensive than my last car, dosent have the kanji, etc. Other than that, beeng a newb i dont know exacly what words to use while searching so i get meager results for my efforts.

Isami sell a nice gi k790, but the price is really out there atm(because of the weak krona), $200 with shipping though not includeing swedish taxes +40%.

I guess the question is, what other options do i have if i want a nice gi with the traditional kanji sent to Sweden?

Any links and info about sites etc is very helpful, eu stores or international are fine.

Thank you.

Osu!

There was a member selling Dogi. Not seen them on K4L for a while, but I'll shoot a PM and see what's going on with that.

OSU,

I can supply original (unbleached) heavy weight kyokushin gi's. They would be shipped from Canada though. Cost is $140 CAD plus shipping. I am not set up for online sales or anything as I don't usually sell them to anyone other than my students but I have done so on occasion when it has helped someone.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the answers, currently the only option other than the basic gi the club "might" be able to supply is the budo-nord hanbo gi and thats about all the options in Sweden i guess.

Anyone who might have some other options, please do tell.

have you tried "Choke Sport", the american subsidiarie of ISAMI? I have ordered a K-400, with a blue Kanji, for €120, post fees included.

In Copenhagen which is sort of close to Sweden, there is a shop called Nippon Sport. They have a selection of Kyokushin gi's, and have mail order. I can't post links because my post count is too low but if you google Nippon Sport København you should be able to find it. In the menu choose "Kampsport"->"Kampsport grupper"->"Karate"->"Dogi / Karatedragter" and you will find a selection there.

Osu,

The gi's are verry nice and the price is good...

Note on the ICHIBAN gi:

I ordered a size 5 (same as my ISAMI).
After 1x washing it shrinks alot.
Including the sleeve diameter and now it is too small for me.
So I gave it to my son and ordered a size 6.

But the prices are very interesting.
