Hi mates,
It's been quite a long time since I wanted to log my trainings and I finally decided to write a blog so that it'll be accessed not only through k4l.
Currently, I focus on conditionning, strenght and power using kettlebells:

Osu! Cool blog furyman. Question: what is Viking Warrior Conditioning? Looking forward to following your training.

Hi guys,
Happy that my blog pleases you.
To answer question about the "Viking Warrior conditionning", it is a set of routines which aims at increasing cardio performance through VO2Max and lactic resistance.
The first routine is based on snatching a kettlebell for 15 seconds with a predefined number of reps (minimum is 7, if you can't do it to 7 with a kettlebell, you should pick one lighter), and resting for 15 seconds. This 15/15 is a set. You have to switch arm every rep, and perform reps till you can't make it to your predefined rep number (or before if your mind is weaker than your body :D ). Max rep number is 80, then there are other protocols or you can move to the heavier kettlebell and go back training with the same protocol.
I have never been doing more than 50 sets of 7 reps with a 16kg kettlebell.
I hope I can move to 80 sets of 8 reps with a 24 soon...
This routine is supposed to enhance your VO2Max (if I do remember well what I read), but first of all, I want to test it to know whether or not I can build a better conditionning.
I read an interview from Sempai Alexandro Navarro, who says he is not running for cardio but only practising kyokushin, but I attended a training session in France where he had us do some "cardio games" which smoked us: my point is, either I do not practise enough (which was clearly true this year), either I have to find a way around getting my cardio from the class.
P.S: I am talking about kettlebells on my blog and about some programs related to them. However, I am not connected in any way to any merchandising or commercial stuff. This is a precision I want to make because I've seen ppl posting all around the web and promoting methods in a nearly "guru" way, which pisses me off... I am a tester not a believer :)
I'm thinking about all the bodyweight exercices I have been taught and will soon make an update on my blog.
