I read a comment today on the boards.
"You are one step closer to Black Belt "
It made me think about that. I started training with that in mind. Now I dont worry about when or what my rank is. I actually just love to train. I love being at the dojo. I learn something new every time! Even in my own sessions I find something new to me doing something old to some. I dont think about the "steps to Black Belt". I concentrate on the here and now with my training.
I think I have passed that very beginning hump that we all start at. I am now somewhere in the middle enjoying my training.

I definitely prefer to train because I enjoy training instead of questing after a black belt, when I can actually get to the dojo. After all, why rush something I will, ideally, be doing for most of the rest of my life? Osu! |
