So after waiting months I settled on finishing my degree in my 'home town' and moved into a house in a decent area a little over a week ago.

Been doing hot yoga and increasing my training. Getting some of my flexibility back and watching the pounds come off in preparation for Scotland.

Been making calls and emails around the area to set up my own dojo around here either in September or October. Will be busy but that's good, because when I have too much free time...

So I'm back 'home', crashing at my father's house, which at my age, I feel kind of lame doing but the circumstances I'm under I'm also glad I have an option.

I recently got out of the Army and am on civilian leave (paid time off) for a little while longer and am even getting 'separation pay'. Thing is, I'm in line to get this government job back in CO but I haven't been hired yet but more or less told it's mine but I learned a long time ago in a similar situation not to count on...

Alrighty, here I go, hopefully I don't leave anything out.

I'm officially "clearing" so I can leave the Army. However I have over 2 months of paid leave saved up so I won't technically be a civilian until July 8th. I go on paid leave this Saturday, though. Meaning I'm coming back to WA hopefully sometime next weekend. Would have been this weekend but there were hiccups in the "system".

I've decided to test myself and test for my sandan this...

Here's to 2010!

So far this year has been a great year of growth for me and changes. When you think about it, doesn't growth mean a change in one way or another, anyway?

My pelvis and back pain doesn't happen as frequent anymore which is a blessing. However, I have found a culprit of increasing that pain is sitting in a chair without shifting. Just saw a movie yesterday and that did my back in, a lot more then working out at the gym does Crazy, huh? ...
