I am for the moment in Paris .
Last week i had the opportunity to go and visit the local Kudo ( Daido Juku ) dojo .
http://hellsnakes.free.fr/
I first wanted to take a look and see how a training was build up . I met Sensei Shinya and asked him if it was OK to stay and watch . He told me to participate but i didn't had any training gear with me .

Training was build up very traditional but with a lot new elements . Kihon had a lot of modern boxing techniques in it . Tempo was high with a lot of variations . After 30 minutes they changed over to Stamina training and pad work. This took about 45 minutes where the students where divided in groups of 2 and 3 and had to pick their own combinations . Every body had to rotate as well in the their group as as in every other group . After a small break they started sparring with first a few hands only rounds to hands and feet and total included grappling rounds .
I saw very good fights and 100 percent attitude .
Sensei Shinya asked me to train with them next Monday .

I promised to do so , i will go back and bring my no kanji dogi and white belt to participate .

Last week i than finally went to train with them
but since it was the final training of the season , training only lasted an hour and a half .
I didn't introduced my self until the end and than thanked Sonny Crocked -san for having me there .
Training was merelly focused on boxing techniques this time and as last week the tempo was pretty high .
I asked if it was possible to take a group picture.
see below .
Finally they invited me to come and have a drink with them but since i had to return to the airport before midnight ( or my day pas to visit Paris was due and i would have trouble to get out of the train station (kinda Cinderella experience)) i promised to do that on another occasion
To the guys from Kudo Paris a big
Osu
