i love this forum, it's a great source of info and lots of fun. But it seems that recently 20% of the thread are about "improving kyokushin" i have huge respect for all martial art practitioner and i believe that every style has it's goods and bads. It really is personnal opinion and even more personal are the reason why you chose this one over this other one. Why is everyone one wants to know who's best. what is the ultimate art, who's gonna kick who's butt?...
Ok kyokushin dosn't use head strike in TOURNAMENT so what! i believe it was dent who said ; should kicking be include in boxing to make it more effective? I agree 100%.
Everyone everyday uses walking in order to do their daily activites so why aren't we wearing rollerblades 24/7 it would make us much more effective right?!
I as been said that small minds talks about people, mediocre mind talk about events, and great mind discuss concepts.
Applying this to our situation my opinion is small minded argues about what martial art is best, mediocre mind debates on the difference between styles and great martial art mind cast aside the diffrences and see the common underlying similarity
Dont get me wrong i'm not better then anyone. I trully belive that you can learn a lot from differences ( between styles, cultures, people etc...) I just dont see the purpose of arguing over them.

I think that the only purpose towards arguing would be for the challenge, and entertainment it provides... It's like arguing over the creation/evolution theory. Either way, we still have a world under our feet. I think that as long as discussions maintain a mutually respectful, and educational level, it is a positive interaction between minds. Once people start going into disrespect, then it is no longer a discussion, but becomes bullying, and fighting.
