Osu!
I have an idea for that move. Your opponent is facing you and cross grabs your right wrist with their right hand. You pull your right hand back in hikite twisting your opponents arm so that his inner forearm is facing upwards.. at the same time your left hand comes across the front of you, and does a quick, sharp tettsui onto the exposed inner forearm ( close to his wrist) popping off his grasp on your right wrist. Yes Supergroup I have heard that.
Assuming that when you were grabbed your hand is palm down and on the pul back it twist to Plam up - that twist helps loosed the grip.

Osu Supergroup7 & Bloke,
I had heard that one aswell I like the use of the word hikite, in our national organisation that word isnt used, they call it the "reaction hand" from action-reaction.....Anyone have anymore suggestions on that move....? Osu

O.K..
How about this? Your opponent is behind you and attempting to bear hug you from behind. You quickly send Ushiro Hiji ate ( Back elbow strike) with your right arm into his elbow, while grasping his right arm with your left hand and sinking into backstance. A natural shoulder throw over your right shoulder can occur right there as you use the fact that he is bending over in reaction to your elbow strike into his mid drift. |

Ha ha ha... I made a little typing error up there. I said to quickly send an elbow strike "with your right arm into his elbow", HA ha ha ha.. Well.. I guess you COULD go for the elbow, that would stop him from getting his hold onto you but it would tap his arm away from your left hand. What I meant to say is into his "middle".. into his solar plex/ diaphragm/ center.I'm glad that you like this one, Ksan! It means that I've got the right ideas popping around sometimes. Wait until you read some of the wild, crazy thoughts that I'll come up with. ![]() |

Try this one on for size....person attacks with an downward or over hand strike ( ie Collar bone strike ) either turning or straight the double hand motion seizes the elbow and the upper hand seizes the wrist....perform the tetsui, while bringing the other hand to your opposite ear ( like in the kata ) then step into Kiba dachi and perform that motion, now the straight punck across the throat becomes a throw......should drop your oponent. Any questions or clarifications just ask
