Looks great! Göteborg is practically just a short boatride away. Unfortunatelly our dojo has a tournament the very same day.

I honestly dont know. I think there was a few non shin-kyokushin guys last time, but Im not 100% sure (im not involved in he even in any way, and I live very far from Gothenburg, so I dont have any daily contact with the responsible either). I know there was a some ashihara guys invited last time, but it clashed with a major ashihara event so they had to go there instead.
Contact the arrangers directly and ask. Contact info is on the website.

I have been told by one of the arrangers that last time it was open to any&all kyokushin (and related) organizations, and that noone has said anything about changing it this year.
It is not a beginner level event, but anyone with good knockdown tournament merits are free to apply for one of the limited slots in each weight class.

Thank you for the results, alan. Interesting that a lightweight won the tameshiwari award.

I have seen quite a few light weight fighters do this; Kim Holm, Vasili Kudiakov. I think there are quite a few surprises as far as the results go!
