Role models...who inspires you??

Sensei Naomi Woods (First female to do the 50 & 100 man kumite) is a really good fighter, i've seen her fight many times. I believe she might be retired now after winning the World Cup in Australia last year. If you can get a hold of any of her fights, i suggest you look at them, they are great to learn from.


Role Models, 'ey?
I guess I really look up to my Shihan and a guy who use to train at my dojo but moved away. He was just wow. He had so much energy. Just standing next to him in class just make you work harder. Its quite hard to explain. I watched him during the sparring for his Shodan ( I couldn't watch much else as I was grading too) and if he was knocked down, he would just jump back up to his feet in a matter of seconds. The next day after the grading, he came to class and it was as if he hadn't just graded the day before. It was just amazing.

I have been training for about 3 and half to 4 years and the person that motivates me the most is my older brother. He has been there training he does so well, he practices his form looks perfect so i decided i wanted to be like him. He has pushed me to take both the kids and adults class(fighting and all) it took me a while to get used to it like a month, but i wanted to train. I was the first child (under 13 to train and fight with the adults). I enjoy training with them and taking the pain and i owe it all to my brother he will always be my role model(he is also on this site). Thanks to him i love kyokushin and i am 13, i hold the rank of 2nd kyu brown belt. {my bro also got me into training when i was in 4th grade}

i'm not from knock-down styles nor am I a woman. So, I'm wearing a skirt right now (no I'm not). I think Elisa Au in World Karate Federation (probably Shotokan) is truly excellent fighter. She is so flexible, innovative, swift, and elegant.
