[Ashihara/NIKO]Alexander Lavrushin, Russia
Hmm. And any other fighter who has competed at the Sabaki Challenge Spirit. I would have added some myself, but none of the fighters I know has bothered to actually keep track of their reults (except for the official SCS records, of course). |

Hi,
We had the Mixed Martial Arts Expo in Toroto this week and I ws just reading above. Shoni Carter had his booth directly accross from ours and I got to speak with him few times. really flamboyant dresser and extremely nice guy. Let his fans hod his belts, take pictures with him, ask him questions and didn't ask for a thing unlike some of the other MMA stars there (Mat Serra was asking $10 an autographed picture). I have a great picture of him holding my son. ![]() |

Team Ryoku were also attending, I see. They do some great stuff, although sometimes I'm a bit confused. Is it gymnastics, martial arts or modern dance? Beats me...

Yes, I didn't get to see them in action but they were very nice. We were playing Kyokushin tournament videos and they were really impressed by them. We had Warriors Wear on one side, Toe 2 Toe on the other and Shoni, Team Ryoku and Dan Henderson accross from us, so lots of traffic past our booth all weekend.

Osu!
It sounds like your decision to attend the expo as an entity was a good one. I hope you have many people visit your Dojo with the desire to sign up for class. Osu!

That would be nice. It was good to just get the word out about Kyokushin. Most had never heard of it, or didn't really know what it was.
