Sunshine Coast dojo
Gday,
Could anyone please let me know if there are any Kyokushin dojos on the Sunshine coast? Am desperately seeking a dojo with no luck so far. What other styles are similar to kyokushin?
Having withdrawals from no training

If you mean Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Sebastian and Adam Arcidiacono used to have one in Caloundra - I have had a look on the web, and can find no current references to them at all. It is not a common name so I've also had a look for them in white pages- can't find anything there either.

However, having that name might help you...

That failing, Sempai Eric Gunton operates a dojo in Banyo in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, which can be fairly readily accessed off the Gateway arterial - about 45 minutes drive down from Sunshine coast, I'd estimate. (details of that dojo are in the dojo directory).

Good luck!

Thumbs up Training on the Coast
Hi Leroy,

I used to train with Adam and Sebastian, currently training with Goju in Currimundi Caloundra, If you would like to train either style let me know, I still practice Kyokushin kai at home and would like a training partner.
let me know if your interested or if your want to train Goju. I can get you the details, its more a definsive style and not big on kicks above the waist, But they are a great group of people and the technical aspect will benifit your training.

CobraKid--very useful info, thanks for posting it!

Could I ask you to start a thread in the INTRODUCTIONS forum, to tell us a little about yourself, and allow us to give you a proper welcome?!!

Hi CobraKid,
Thanks for the info and for your invite to train with you. I've decided at the moment to have a break since there is no Kyokushin dojo close by and also I have three little girls who seem to take up most of my time at the moment. Hopefully someone might start a Kyokushin dojo in this area oneday. Thanks again.
Osu
