OK, let's try. My first post with pictures.

Here is the cover of the calendar, the quality is great. I didn't have time to take pictures of all pages though. You can see the size if you compare it to the A4 sized papers in the same picture.



And the towel. Quite small (also compared with an A4 sized sheet of paper)but it will be great as a work out towel. Not at the beach =)

That is a poster for the bi-annual Marathon Camp hosted by the Swedish dojo GKK (Gothenburg Karate Kai, the dojo of Shohan Howard Collins). I do not at this point really know what is the story with the theme, 100 man kumite, of this years camp.

Dear Kakatootoshi,

as one of the members of the organizing team I just wanted to answer you about the Marathon Camp at Gothenburg's Karate Kai (GKK) in Sweden where as previously stated Shihan Howard Collins is chief instructor. The Marathon Camp is a camp held every second year at GKK. It runs for 24 hours and during that period there are about 8-9 training sessions each with a different instructor. There is one "long" resting period for 3 hours when you can sleep. Otherwise it is just training, a short break for eating and drinking and resting and then training again. A tradition is to end the last session with 1000 mae keage. Each camp usually also have a theme. Last time it was "Hyaku paasento he no chousen" and this time it is "24 hours 100 man kumite". The idea is that during the 24 hours everyone will make a total of 100 matches plus normal training plus the 1000 axe kicks at the end. I'm sure it will be a challenge. The camp is open for all WKO (IKO2) members and last time we had about 20 foreign visitors out of a total of 65 people. Unfortunately we can't take more people than that if we shouldn't stand on each others shoulders (which of course could be a nice challenge too....) so the earlier you register the greater chance to get a place.
