How to make your own nunchaku
I've started learning some Nunchaku tricks during the summer, and now we have Nunchaku no Kata in the Shodan test.

In some country, wooden nunchaku is a restricted weapon and you need a license to carry one. The alternative is a foam and PVC metal chained nunchaku, which is terrible. The metal is heavier than the rest of the nunchaku, thus control and balance of the nunchaku are compromised.

I went to a hardware store and bought some material to make my own wooden nunchaku.

As long as you discreetly keep your nunchaku at home and in the dojo, you shouldn't be in trouble.

Hello Liu!!
Nunchaku tricks are cool, I have played a bit, but just for fun, nothing serious. I'm kind of new in kyokushin therefore, there is a lot of things that I don't know yet.
Is nunchaku a commom weapon in kyokushin...or trainning with it depends upon each sensei?
Anyway, I thanks for sharing the links.

Ossu!!!

Brazilian Berseker,

I don't think nunchaku is the classic Kyokushin weapon. Bo seems to be more popular than nunchaku since a wooden stick is something anyone can get. And yes, training of Kubudo does depend on your sensei. My sensei is talented in Tonfa and Bo, so we have some Bo classes.
