Training equipment?
![]() i would like to buy some trainings equipment for running etc.. so i tought i could ask you guys what things you wear for example when you go running/jogging. Is it possible to buy training suits with kyokushin or karate logos / text? I would also like to know if you train barehanded on a sandbag or do you train with gloves? I ask this because kyokushin is known for strong punches etc.. without gloves. so i thought that you guys maybe train barehanded. Well well, i think my english here lacks some grammar etc.. sorry for that.. but i think you understand what i mean. ![]() |

I can give you the same advice my sensei gave to me two weeks before
![]() At the beginning use bandages while training at the bag, when your hands are strong enough then you can try it without, but you don't want to get injured. I can't help you on the other part, for now ![]() Just be sure that you use good shoes for jogging ![]() |

If you want to stay warm, from ichigeki shop in Tokyo, they do have this item:
![]() If your knuckles and fists are not conditioned, gloves probably wouldn't be a bad idea. MMA gloves over enough protection to not tear up your knuckles, but are not thick enough to cushion the punch totally. vapor

for me, training in bandages for sandbag actually hurt me more than training bare knuckled. maybe cos i used the coarse type and it scraped my knuckles leaving the bandages red.
so bare handed is actually better, for me, at least. i've also wet my hands for bag training to simulate sweat, amazing how difficult it is to punch straight with wet hands |

Maybe you wrap the bandages wrong?
It still hurts a bit, but way less than without, and you can support your wrist so I really recommend them (or bag gloves, they support the wrist too). |
