Kyokushin Credit Card
This is a credit card that is co-branded by IKO Kyokushin Kai and Rakuten KC (credit card issuer).
This is only available in Japan...and you have a choice of two designs. As with most credit cards, you accumulate points on usage, but instead of using those points for frequent flier miles, you can redeem them for kyokushin goods!! Thought you guys would enjoy seeing this! (time to fill out the application form!) ![]() ![]() vapor |

It is hard to say what tangible benefits there are to the organization, unless they have set up a deal with the credit card issuer, that they get a % back on all purchases made (it does happen)
Or, it is possible that they have the ability to review the purchase history that are made with the cards, which would allow the organization to shape what type of marketing decisions it makes...(this happens too) I have worked with a number of credit card issuers (actually in the middle of arranging one of the largest Japanese credit card issuers to expand into other markets in Asia, so I have heard some of the things that they do when getting deals put together) But, more than anything, it is probably just another way to allow members to show their pride---how cool would it be to whip out one of those cards to pay for something---not to mention the store clerk may say "wow, cool card!" vapor |

That's funny. Do you get any bonuses or discounts with that or is it just looking cool in your wallet?
