Dojo Insurance
A question for dojo operators in the US... Who are you getting your "martial arts" insurance through? I've been researching insurance companies but it seems that all the ones I find online are geared more towards traditional / non-contact styles or Taekwondo (not to be confused with Ri-Kwon-Do). If anyone could direct me to some websites I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Try www.fdean.com
I called them and asked them about knockdown sparring coverage, they asked with or without gear I said both and they said yes we cover!!!! And at the same price all the others $8.95 per student per year with a $450.00 min & $1 Million coverage. |

Mark,
Thanks for the info, that's a very good rate. Most of the insurance companies were charging over $15 per student with a $1,200 minimum. It's too bad that FDean has Rodeos in their exclusion list. |
