osu no seishin kanji for tattoo
Hi all, after long searches and no luck I am going to ask a question that has been asked several times in these forums, does anyone know where I can get a nice copy of the osu no seishin kanji for tattoo purposes, I can only find a very standard straight lined version, a nice brushed version ect would be much more suitable.

Bring your artist the characters and tell him what you are looking for. Tell him you want a brushed calligraphy look and they will do it for you. It is just a matter of finding the right artist. Some guys may not be suited to doing brushed letters, they may do better Celtic knotwork or portraits, just shop around. I am sure you will find someone who will do exactly what you want.

Check out this post,
http://www.kyokushin4life.com/forums...hlight=tattoos I had Osu No Seishin written out by a freind, and wanted what you did, a nice flowing script After having a look at the sites Azimuth suggested i went to this one and ordered http://www.dsfy.com/index.htm# They took that (image of the hand written kanji) and did a great job! I got two versions of the script (in standard and a more flowing cursive style) Both looked great! Very good value (it cost about $25 US) Very fast service, They spoke and emailed in english. I recomend them. If i were you i would take the image nzproud suplied here, send it to them and tell them you want the same text in a flowing brush script. I think you will be very happy, I was, i am going to get my tattoo this week ![]() Bren |

Literal straight translation is:Push/Press Patience/Endure Of Holy (not sure of last Kanji, the combination of both gives something close to meaning Spirit/Soul, using the same kanji eg. seisho=bible seisan=holy communion). Simply put it means The Spirit of Perseverance.

Osu No Seishin The Spirit Of Perseverance Coupled with the traditional values of Kyokushin Karate is the spirit of perseverance. Kyokushin Karate strives to instill in it's followers that "never give up" attitude that will keep people going when under extreme pressure. This attitude is one which will serve you in every aspect of your life. Our training attemps to develop a 6th sense which makes possible a spontaneity of thought that can make your techniques lightning fast. Others may say, "It's impossible because it is too difficult" We say, "It's difficult but not impossible." There is an old adage that says it all - " Even though a person may defeat 1000 others in battle, it is he who conquers himself that is the greatest warriors" Source: The Guide to the Kyokushin Karate-Do of Shihan Gary Viccars, 7th Dan |
