OIrac & A-Jay passed their grading
Osu
A-jay & Olrac (both members here) passed his grading today. Olrac for brownbelt and A-jay for red belt. Olrac had to go very deep. Again,... congratulations ![]() Ksan

I can imagine the pride and smile on your face everytime you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror with your new belts to confirm what you know! vapor |

Like the other sensei said: I stood before the gates of hell and Olrac actually went through it.
My respect for him for going that far. |

Indeed so. New belts are way too stiff, making the ends point out in every possible direction, which only make you look comical.
I usually roll the belt a few times, beat it against a wall or try to straighten it out by using a handrail, stick etc untill it softens up a bit. ![]() Congrats on your new grades. ~ Osu! |

Osu,
Orlac and A-jay, Both of you have done well during the exam. A-jay I hope that you u would look at exams differently and know that every time you enter the dojo you examine your self by doing your technique 100% and knowing the name of the technique. Just like Orlac is doing it now. Keep practicing. And Orlac it’s still al long way to your black belt but if you keep focus on your pad you will be there before you know. With great osu sense |

Osu,
Thank you all! It was indeed "a grading from hell". By far the hardest one I ever had. Maybe because I'm becoming quite a old guy, has something to do with it. ![]() Thank you ksan for knocking me out and thank you sense for not-knocking me out (I think). If I remember well, because some parts are still blanc to me, I went down about 4 times. Also A-jay did well. Keep up the spirit and you will become a greater fighter! And yes, at home I have been standing in front of the mirror wearing my new belt feeling very proud. For me it was a very special grading because it was the last one I could do in our dojo. The next ones will be at summercamps. By the way, some parts of my body still hurts like I have been hit by a steamtrain. ![]() ![]() |
