Hi Bren,
Thanks for posting these. Congratulations again. Specific feedback is a little difficult for anyone not from your particular group, so I won't go there. Your movements are neat and snappy, and very well developed, particularly considering your grade. A general point that I would make that shouldn't be group-specific is that your stances (and the general aesthetic of the kata) will improve with a bit more knee bend. This can be harder as you get older.. .IN tsuki-no, the powerful turns through kibadachi kyu-ju-do will benefit from being deeper. And pivot your feet all the way though the haito strikes, so your hips move all the way round., This same move is in Kanku-dai. Great work. ![]()

Congratulations on your medals. Thank you for sharing your video.
My Former Sensei would have us focus on the things that we learned at our tournament. So I will ask you the same question: "What knowledge, and memories have you pulled away from this experience?" |

great performance!!
salutations. You are very crisp and strong in your movements and tsuki no is just the right Kata for you to show your strengths. If any thing,I would concentrate on lowering my stances and maintaining the same hight in all the various DACHI. WELL DONE
