Training both IKO1 Kyokushin and Enshin?
Anyone tried cross training within two versions of Kyokushin or its spin-offs?
I found a really good and affordible Enshin Dojo here in Tucson where I live and I liked it. Its very much the same but also alot different than the Kyokushin that I have been training in. Anyone else with experience in this area?

I did go to hombu enshin dojo here in Denver for eight months while I was still practicing kyokushin.
What can I say, it is only the sabaki that is diferent. I recomand it, if you want to learn something useful.

We didnt even get into the Sabaki yet but even the basics were tweaked enough to throw me off but I really liked it. The Sensei is great there.

Great to hear you enjoyed it! The basics are a little different and the fighting strategy is very different, but after a few goes it makes a lot of sense. I had already left Kyokushin before I started in Enshin, and found it new and exciting learning the sabaki strategy. Suddenly I was fighting simply to score, not to prove I could absorb more punishment while doing so! I'm just looking at your signature - "Its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward" You may find the Sensei trying his best to change your strategy pretty soon. "It's about NOT getting hit, moving to a better position, then dropping them" would be more of an Enshin one! Gary
