Hi, Thought i'd post a quick update. Been training for about two months now and just passed my tenth kyu grading. Really enjoying my training, been on a summer camp with my son, which was the best weekend i've had in years. Hard work but great, even got third place in the kata comp!
I don't post much but always lurking around reading the new posts and learning new things.
Oh yea and thanks for that kick round the face the other night tmd, that will teach me to keep my hands up lol

Now I'm wondering about TMD's new guard question. Sounds like he's doing just fine, but maybe analyzing/ probing for a weakness in another. Very Nix of you, TMD!

Will do. Already my aims have changed, to start with I was just happy to have had the courage to attend that first session. Now I just want to learn as much as I can and to do well in gradings etc!! Didn't think I'd be too bothered about grading to start with, but now I'm already looking forward to the next one! It's a bit addictive this Kyokushin

Passed my ninth kyu grading last weekend really pleased, all seems to be going quite well at the moment.
Will be entering a clicker tournament in October and a novice knockdown in November then another grading in December. So it's going to be a busy few months. Oh and going to K2 this weekend!!!
