Power Karate (there's 1 & 2, I have 2) by DC Cook is my favourite but it's long out of print
A great great book if you can find it.

I really love the way Kancho Ninomiya laid out his Sabaki Method book.
Here is the link from the K4L shop. Amazon.com: Sabaki Method: Karate in the Inner Circle: Kancho Ninomiya, Ed Zorensky: Books

OSU!
Sabaki Method is a really great book, I own it. I have also the DVDs from Kancho Ninomiya. Another great book (and DVDs) that I own it too is the “Fighting Karate” of Hideyuki Ashihara. Regardless our karate style, we find important a lot of concepts there that are very useful to improve in Kumite. Anyway we hare all Oyama children! Regards and Osu! |

Someone said the new world Oyama karate technical serie in 4 parts is basically a expanded version. (no link. WOK are updating their homepage, and I dont know where to find them elsewhere at the moment). Also very similar is Hideyukui Ashiharas "fighting karate" and "more fighting karate" (and presumably the untranslated 3rd one) books. but they are old, out of print and hard to get copies of.
