Kyokushin Mexico
OSU everyone,
I am Alan and I used to train under Sensei Stephen Eaton from IFK Canada... more like IFK Gauthier Quebec, under Shihan Daniel Gauthier. (Montreal, Canada) I reached 5th Kyu (green bad) and for personal (and political) reasons, I've stopped my training. Now, I live in Mexico City and had the luck to find Shihan Gessi's dojo and I re-started my training with him last saturday. Luckily, he accepted my belt level and I am also very much surprised that I remember my katas (after 4 years of not training). Obviously, I have to clean up my technique and get my cardio/stamina in gear, but that's ok. I've publish on my blog some videos of tournaments I participated in when I was in Montreal. If you are interested to check it out at mokbel.ca and feel free to leave comments on the blog and visit back to see my progress. I have some videos on VHS of other tournaments and I'm working on digitalizing them and then, I'll post them on my blog. Now... 2 things: 1. I have a created a community for all kyokushin practitioners in Mexico and I'd like to have a link back to K4L... how do I do that? 2. I'm looking to get a good quality dogi (white or beige) with the Kanji embroided. Any clue of where I can get it? There are no store here in Mexico that do it. Thanks everyone OSU Alan |

Osu!
Welcome to the Forum, Amokbel! I can see that you are very involved with Kyokushin, and I think you will have a great time here. As far as a link to the Forum goes, you could always just post the website on your community page. For more detailed tech stuff, I suggest you communicate with Kyokushin4Life directly, as he is both founder and driving force of our community. Although I haven't bought from them yet, ChokeSports.com has developed a good reputation among our members. Osu!

me too...
Me too! I missed the training... nothing like it.
My first class last week was 'light' as Shihan Gessi was assessing me... and yet, my legs were sore for 4 days (and I did stretch during that time). Can't wait for this week's class. Too bad that it's only once a week (for now). OSU Alan |

Osu!
Yes, you currently the proud owner of a new white belt, and the best way to move up is to attend the Forum, and participate vigorously, just like any other Dojo! ![]() With that, we come to the time when an introductory thread must close, but I look forward to your next post. Osu!
