Who loves Natto?

There are many ways to eat Natto!

I recently bought 'Nametake(mushroom)' to go with Natto and its combination is fantastic! My mum used to cook eggs with natto and put them in my lunch box .

Living here in Japan, I eat almost anything....

.... except that. I've tried it a few times and I just can't stomach the stuff. (Neither can my bf, who's Japanese!!)

Saying that I can tell that you have never had any Natto. Many compare Natto in Japan to Marmite in UK and maybe you can have a feel what it is like.

It took me a LONG time to get to the point that I could eat natto.

My wife encourages it (it can help lower your blood pressure!), so I can eat it now with no complaints!

Yeah - I had the same weird experience. I actually entered the thread to see the nasty tattoo....and saw beans.

natto also helps to clean your system of cholesterol too!

But, you have to get it fresh!

One of my wife's close friends family is a HUGE manufaturer of Natto, so there were times when we would get a carton of them.....it is hard for two people to go through 24/ 3 pack- containers of natto in a week!!!

We ended up giving a bunch to neighbors!!
