Practical Japanese that will be useful to a karateka visiting Japan!
I am going to start this thread, and will flesh it out over the next few days.
But, let me ask this question to you.... As a karateka visiting Japan, what types of things would you like to be able to say in Japanese (or at least not look like a deer in the headlights!!) Post up some questions, and those of us that speak Japanese will get on answering them, and adding our own. There are plenty of sites and resources available for the basics... (what time is the next train to kyoto?) So lets try to focus on what a karateka would need. ![]() vapor |

Thank you. It doesn't matter too much, but does that mean crowded or noisy? And what would I substitute for the other option?
