Kyokushin Wikipedia Entry Needs Work!
Dear Knowledgeble Kyokushin Practioners,
I know that on this forum exists some of the most knolwedgeble Kyokushin karateka on the internet. I reach out to all of you to help out in an area that I know as a collective, we can greatly advance: the Wikipedia site dedicated to Kyokushin. It badly needs work. If we can all take an active role, particularly our Senior Members/Administrators, in advancing the website we can greatly promote Kyokushin on the internet. I can only fanthom how many new to Kyokushin will read up on that Wikipedia site to begin their Kyokushin research. The page in its current state does not do the art justice. Some of my opinions where help is most needed:
Just see for yourself... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyokushin If we can band together, I know we can make some advances on a informational page that badly needs advancement. Who's with me? Osu! |

Smoothsake I agree with you that in advancing the website we can promote Kyokushin on the net. I also like how you said people new to Kyokushin will read up on the Wikipedia site and take more interests in Kyokushin karate.
Where is Kakatootoshi-san these days? |

hmmm....I am smelling a contest...
The member that makes the best contribution to the site, wins... Now, what should the winner get...hmmm (this is just me, and an individiual member thinking outloud...nothing more than that!) vapor |

I have added our link to the wiki, see in the external links.
We could probably post articles on wiki or submit links to our fighter profile section or something. Osu. 1. Yamaki Karate is missing. 2. We should mention about how many kyokushin fighters went successful in other sport like K-1 etc.. 3. It also needs to mention the kyokushin karate game on ps1 plaftorm.

I agree. This venture cannot succeed without Kakatootoshi-san. Where art thou?

Osu.
Let me know if you want to add more links in the top main page. Currently we have "Mas oyama" "Organizations" and "Styles". Feel free to request it here. Perhaps we can have "history of K4L" too ![]() |
