No Ura is done for all kata up to pinan 5
and I'll state as I did earlier come to the camp (if you are a yudansha ) and learn, if not have your instructor contact Shihan Farrell for a seminar......

Osu,

This is the Technical Syllabus of Kyokushinkaikan Karate-do (this was taken from the old syllabus).

White Belt
[No Kyu]
* Kata: Taikyoku Sono lchi & Ni, Sokugi Taikyoku Sono lchi

Orange Belt
10th & 9th Kyu
* Kata: Taikyoku Sono San, Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ni & San

Blue Belt
8th & 7th Kyu
* Kata: Pinan Sono lchi & Ni, Sanchin

Yellow Belt
6th & 5th Kyu
* Kata:Pinan Sono San & Yon, Yantsu, Tsuki No Kata

Green Belt
4th & 3rd Kyu
* Kata: Pinan Sono Go, Taikyoku Sono Ichi Ura & Ni Ura & San Ura, Gekisai Dai, Tekki Sono lchi

Brown Belt
2nd & 1st Kyu

Katas for lower belts are still required in higher belt promotions. Prudence requires we maintain knowledge by continuous practice of the lower belt Katas.

Shigeru Oyama also has 10 kata`s ... i was taught he designed them for kyokushin by order of sosai but they were not incorporated into the curriculum. Shigeru Oyama later made them the basics of his Oyama Karate. Their known as kihon 1-8 and kaihan and shotai. He also has 4 tonfa and 4 bo kata`s ( i also heard about sai kata`s and 1 katana kata, but i only heard this once, cant confirm this)

I remembered one more and i saw you didnt mention it, but didnt Oyama Karate also have a kata called "oyama`s kumite-no-kata skite-uke" ? And your supposed to do it in pairs starting with your backs together and then during the performing of the kata you would move around eachother...

Bonjour, est bienvenue Cedric. Welcome.

There are many Kyokushin video of kata available on Youtube. ( Il y a beaucoup de kata sur Youtube.)

Click here for a list.. Kyokushin kata

Votre question n'est pas dans le proper place pour avoir un bon reponse. ( Your question is in the wrong place to be addressed well. It's "off-topic")

P'eut etre, tu pourais le mettre par lui meme? ( Maybe you could make a thread with that question.)

I am currently in IKO1 and am working on these

Taikyoku Sono Ichi

Taikyoku Sono Ni

Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ichi

Man the Sokugi is trickier than it looks and it really gives a workout compared to the punch ones.
