IBK in kickboxing?
When I look at Gerard Gordeaus website, I see a lot of IBK fighters in kickboxing events. Unfortunaly its all in dutch, and I cant understand very much.
Do we have any IBK member here? or anyone who know the dutch kickboxing scene who can tell us what is going on?

Most of the Dutch and Belgian kickboxers and trainers in the early days originated in one way of the other from the Kyokushin Organisation that Kancho Bluming started . If you take a look at (now it is Kancho) mr Gordeaus
(cause Mr Bluming Retired)
palmares you can see that he participated in a lot more than only pure Kyokushin events .So its nothing new but ongoing since ages : )

Thanks, but I am aware of the kyokushin background that many kickboxing gyms share in holland, and of Mr Gordeaus background. I was more interested in current dutch kyokushin fighters from IBK in kickboxing at the moment, and how they are doing. Perhaps recent results and which names to look for in kickboxing rankings.
But thanks anyway.

Yes, there is now two separate IBK, one run by Bluming (with HQ in germany) and the other run by Gordeau (HQ in Holland). Seems there have been a split, where Gordeau claims Bluming has retired as kancho, and Bluming claims to simply have moved HQ and changed all organization details.
But enough about that. Its a very hot political topic that will only stir up trouble if discussed. Let that topic cool for a while, I dont think even most IBK dojos know many real facts yet.
