k-1 oceania round 3 **spoiler**
watching it live :-)
Peter Sampson dominated Jason Suttie for 3 round. Suttie could simply not get past Sampsons gedan and chudan geri. Clear win for the rookie kyokushin man (10 pro kickboxing fights, 9 win 1 loss -now 11 fights 10 wins) over the veteran thaiboxer!! by majority decision.
Sampson is clear to the oceania K-1 final to fight for a place in the 2007 k-1 final elimination..

Im starting to like this guy :-D

Peter Graham vs Doug Viney (boxing). Unfortunaly Viney by unanimous dec. :-(
Graham couldnt get it working until round 3, he kept walking into jabs. Round 3 was all his though -not that it helpedby then.

He got in one pretty clean rolling thunder, but it didnt do any damage. His second one pretty much didnt connect.

I thought it was a good event. That dude Alexander the great looks and fights like a monster! Bloody fast knees for someone so big.
Martin H you sure that rolling thunder hit clean? looked like Viney lent the other way just as it was coming in I think.

To be perfectly honest no, im not sure. The live stream I watched was choppy right there, and I didnt see the actual impact. The commentator however talked about how that was the first time he had seen anyone shrug off a rolling thunder hit.

nd yes. All in all a good event (exept the graham loss), and Ustinov looked scary.

Talking
Me and Mustang went to watch a local kickboxing event tonight, in which Mustang will be fighting as a kyokushin representative. (keke !)

Anyway by the time I came home to watch this event, I was totally tired. Fell asleep after Lemi tato's fight.

No he is IKO3 -or was, I dont know if he officialy still is a member since he went pro. I dont know if IKO3 still has the old united IKO "no pro-fighter" rule.

Link to sampsons profile in the profile forum.

Its available in full at:

Warning, full video is over 2 gig in size in best quality. But its GOOD quality, if you got bandwidth enough for the video stream.

I think Viney actually got lucky on that Rolling Thunder. He threw 2 wild punches and as the Rolling Thunder hit, he coincidently rolled with it throwing his 2nd punch.
