New weight class in K-1, -100KG
On the official K-1 web page there is some info and on various forums there is talk about a new weight class in K-1, -100 Kg.

In my opinion this will be great! Many new fighters will get a shot and some bulked up fighters will be able to fight in their natural weight class. I see nothing but good things coming from this :-)

from what I hear the class will only be used in superfights to start with. The WGP will still be open weight. Atleast this year -hopefully they will see a profit in it and implement it into tournaments in the future.

WGP should stay open... just make a different tournament for weight classes if needed....

Cool
It should have 2 GPs(One HW and Open Weight) every year to make it entertaining but one makes it more special.

IMO, the first event to decide the new HW champion is rediculous.

Musashi vs Fujimoto + Badr Hari vs Karaev

Hopefully Hari takes it!

In my opinion, will be more interesting, if have a 80kg weight class. so could be:
lightweight - 70 kg (K-1 World Max)
middleweight - 80 kg
heavyweght - 90 kg and more (K-1 WGP)

I would put it this way:

1st division [60kg;75kg]

2nd division [80kg;100kg]

3rd division [100kg;130kg]

4th division [130kg;.....[

OK thanks for all the info. I hope that the weight class will be heavily used and that new talents are introduced.
