Possible tournament fighters, but might well turn out to be superfight participants before everything is finished:
Akio "Musashi" mori (seidokaikan)
Yusuke Fujimoto (seidokaikan)
Ewerton Teixeira (kyokushin)
Yousuke Nishijima (boxing)
Takumi Sato (kyokushin)
Mitsugu Noda (seidokaikan)
Hiraku Hori (boxing)
Keijiro Maeda (shin-karate)

The tournaments winner gets a place in the final elimination.

I see a lot of karatekas in this one. Glaube vs Ewerton should be interesting.. I must say Ewerton has a lot of potential.. Ewerton bet Glaube in kyokushin when he was 22.

I do not think we will be seeing Teixeira vs Feitosa (as a handpicked superfight) unless one of them has left Kyokushin (or meet in final GP due to the draw). In the past Filho, Pettas and Feitosa never fought each other in K-1 and I guess there was a reason for that.

Because they are brothers especially out of kyokushin. They fight in kyokushin with true respect with each other.

K-1 tries hard not to have members of the same team (or people that train with each other like team sefo and team ichigeki) face each other. It makes for bad fights.
Basically you have to fight your way up to each other in a tournaments before it will happen.

The day before the event? :-)

Seriously, they are probably already made (maybe, althought it is K-1 so it is highly unlikely, the fighters has been told too). Now its just a question of releasing them a few at a time to maintain media interest.
Right now they get all the media attention for the Max and Yokohama events, but I would say the first Fukuoka matchup will be "official" a week or so after the Yokohama event

Ksan brought a kyokushin karate magazine (in japanese) to our dojo last night.
As I can't read japanese I just looked at the pics and made a conclusion.
I'm pretty sure that Fujimoto will be his first opponent.
