Dear Ziyaad,
If K-1 is what you want to do in the future then may I suggest that you should leave Kyokushin now? Indeed there are Kyokushin people who, after fighting in top-notch knockdown competitions, make career transitions into K-1. But if you can do the maths you can find out how many of them there are. You might better spend the years to go through the tournament food chain in Kyokushin in fighting in Muay Thai competitions. OSU!

Ziyaad,
You said earlyer that you like fighting and don't like studing. Where is an advice, fight, fight a lot, fighting is great, kyokushin is an excelent martial art, develops fighting abilities, courage, fittness, but never quit studing. Study is vital for anyone, and studing is vital for a complete fighter. You have to develop your brain along with your body. And inteligence helps you in a fight also. Good luck! Ossu!!!! |
