Dear Ziyaad,
Can you tell us about your fight records in Kyokushin and Kickboxing? OSU!

Osu! I think the first step would be to talk to your sensei. Do you train regularly at a dojo there?

Dear Ziyaad,
Sorry but I think victories in street fights and home training do not count. All fighters in the Ichigeki Team had very well-established fighting records (world champion, top 5 in world championship) before they started their Kickboxing training with the Ichigeki Team. OSU!

Osu!
Fighting in K-1 is an admirable goal. Set small steps and small goals on your road to the top. Planning your way is the best method of ensuring success. Osu!

uhh....I'm trying to be nice here but make smaller goals like win in a knockdown tournament, then maybe the equivalent of nationals, world championships next, and so on. You can't go from never playing little league baseball to winning the world series.

Sorry dude, if 4 wins in a streetfight were good as a fighting record I would be a K1 champion at age of 11.
Just kidding. Seriously. Firt find a Dojo, then compete in your regionals, then go national, then go study in a country with tradition in Kyokushin (Brazil, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway....you got the idea), then go national there, then compete in the All American, or the European, or the Japanese, then try for que World chapmpionship.......and finally, you try to get to K1.......... Well....now you have a job to do for the next 20 years..... I don't want to be mean or anything...i just want to give you the facts....fighting is not ease.... Osu!!! |

Dear Ziyaad,
If you want to train in the Japanese Headquarters (Honbu) this is not a problem. Just come to Tokyo and preferrably with a reference letter from your instructor. OSU!

good advice from everyone. Get some good fights behind you, learn train hard in a dojo but the fights are the most important. K1 fighters know how to beat people down and hurt real bad osu.

I wish you luck and success in your upcoming competition. Do you know the number of people you may be facing? What sort of training program are you following in preparation for the competition? Osu!

My sensei is training competitors like me very seriously.we do shadow sparring using 3kg dumbell and we do many kumite. He advises us to run and to liftweight for our personal training. It is to be noted that my sensei's students were champion in almost all category in the last competition. Thanks for supporting me. ![]()

Thanks for your support everyone. But I think some has misunderstand me I didn't want to say that I want to fight in k1 now. I know that I need more training and I'm not 18 yet. What I mean in my 1st thread was that I want to make career in k1 when i'll be ready.
I get lot of info from u all thanks.
